Happy 4th of July from The Ed Sullivan Show! As we take some time to enjoy this day of both remembrance and celebration, we’d like to take a moment and look at several historical patriotic moments from the show. As we’re all aware, The Ed Sullivan Show witnessed America’s progress and transition through many different stages. Although the show was meant to entertain its viewers it always honored the people that fought and protected our country. From bringing veterans and active military personnel on stage to hosting shows at military bases and army hospitals, The Ed Sullivan Show was a platform for appreciating our servicemen. As we look back on this important day, we’d like to honor the men and women who have served our country and those that are currently active.
